This card is for Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday challenge. This week we are at the Tour de France in France of course. We formed our own team (TTT) and all brought our cycles. If you want to know more about all thes goings on, visit: mothermark.blogspot.com/
This trip is a bit hard for me as I don't really like being outdoors that much and sports just aren't my thing, but I am making an effort as I love France, I love my tea party friends, and we are all on a mission to save those poor snails. The snails are in danger of being squished by those fast bicycles - poor things!
I have some how gotten separated from our group, and I am on a little side road. I think it is for the best since my cycle isn't really the sporty fast type - it is more of a strolling/sight-seeing bike. I have found some lovely flowers and one of those poor snails. I brought my English/French dictionary and found out that land snails are called escargot de pays (at least I hope that is right). I found a nice little sign maker along the way (Pierre Sr.), and he has made us a sign. He says that it reads: welcome team TTT and also save the snails. I will share it when we all meet up later. Has anyone seen Ginger? She is practicing her french and mine is really rusty. I think she said she was going to find that cute Lance or else she said she was visiting a winery. I just hope she wasn't involved in that big accident that the reporters were talking about.

Oh I LOVE that image, it's so cute! WATCH OUT MR. SNAIL! Foxy lady coming through! And look at your fancy FRENCH banner, hmmmmm, show off (hee!) I was very worried that Joan was going to get pitched off her bike and muss up her hair, but YOU...I don't want that gorgeous silk scarf to get all muddy, so be careful! Make one left, and a quick right, and you should be back on the right trail, hee!

Hey, here you are! So glad we spotted you off this side trail! Ginger is with us. We picked her up on the side of the road, it seems when you stopped at the sign makers, she got spooked, fell off the back of your bike, and got lost! She had curled up and was napping in a comfy bed of tall grass (you know, doing what she does best!) Hee!
OMG! What a great card and I got such a kick out of the sign! Welcome TTT and Save the Snails! Doesn't get any better than that! Your bicycle is a classic and your new little snail buddy is precious! Love how you captured the hillside in France! Thanks for coming and bringing this awesome little card!

This is awesome. How fun is this card. You had better be careful of that snail. I think your bike needs a GPS system to navigate back to the group. Or maybe not... I will meet you at the wine shop with Ginger. Oh yeah and I agree with Pat let's invite Lance. He is a cute one..He can tour us around.

Now YOU are a girl after my own heart! Scenic cycling is so much less stressful. And your adorable scene is very soothing. Your little snail does have a frightful look to him, so I hope he's still safe and sound ... being that there is a sign nearby to tout his survival!

Wine? Did someone say wine? I usually only drink wine in the winter. Go figure. BUT being in France and all what the heck. I love your touring bicycle. Although it looks like you might be headed right over your snail friend! Yikes. Love your card. Great job. TFS :0)

Ginger visiting a winery - was it a good idea to let her out of your sight? Lovely as a Tree makes such a lovely setting for you on your very elegant bike. Not cut out for racing, for sure, but I wouldn't say no to a bicycle like that. Love your sign, too.

Funny girl! I love the sign! Save the snails! Right on, I think it's good that we have an environmentalist in the bunch!
Love all the lite trees in the background, cute snail too. I see they can get quite a size if we let them be! Is that a good idea. LOL
Very pretty card, and yes, there is wine here too, so if you see some cute girls on the side road, that's me...oh and the other girls too. Thanks for sharing, now take a little break and sip some good Merlot!
