Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Not Quite Navy, Pretty Ink Pink and Really Rust. Now, I have to admit, these are some of my favorite colors...I've just never MIXED used all three on the same card before.
Sunday afternoon I was in the emergency room, again...This time my foot/ankle/calf had swollen to a point where they were the size of my thigh! And...the diagnosis? Gout! OMGosh! I wanted to slap the nurse for snickering...She asked ever so snarky, "Did you eat ham? Shellfish?" No...well, does pork loin count? LOL
I found this AWESOME piece of designer paper in Really Rust and decided to work the card around it!
The butterfly is a Shapeabilities die. I cut and embossed it. Next, I rubbed Versa Color Neptune(a match for Not Quite Navy!) over the embossing. Then, I embossed it in Clear. Next, I used a T-Shirt painting brush to color in the butterfly with Versa Color Paprika(a match for Really Rust. I embossed that with clear.
The sentiment and ferns were stamped in Neptune and embossed in clear. I added in the flowers and leaves in Paprika and Cinnamon.

Sorry about the gout!!!! That can be very painful! I'm sure they'll tell you all about diet changes and sometimes, meds are required. Hope you're felling better soon!
Your card is fabulous! Love the sketch and the details!
I absolutely love how you did the butterfly! It is so striking, I just had to read to find out how you did it. Thanks for the deets! There are so many intricate details: the lace, "O", hardware, it all came together so beautifully.
