I've had this template for a long time because I covet Jerri K's talent: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers - need I say more?!? The woman is amazing.
I stamped the butterfly background in versamark then heat embossed using gold EP. The butterflies are colored with Prism pencils and accented with a glitter pen. The flower in the middle is from a stem of white silk Hydrangeas that I bought at Michael's. I cut two of the smaller flowers off and colored them with Copic markers, then misted with Glimmer Mist so that they look moist with dew. Irridescent vellum was used for the leaves. Pearl brad holds them together. The butterfly in the corner is also heat embossed and colored with Prisma pencils and a gel pen for the green dots. Gold beads accent his body and his antenna are wire. Gold thread and beads accent the frame. I've got my mom making Crochet braids and flowers, and used a strip of it at the bottom to set off the sentiment.
