Happy Monday everyone. Today we have a fun tlc from Lynn's treasure box! She called it fabric flowers, but we did not have to do flowers. So I cut up my jammies and made a get well soon card for Sue (bensarmom), you can read her story here and if you feel like it send her a get well card too:
I had alot of fun making this for Sue. I know everything will be just fine, you have alot of friends here rooting for you!
NOTE: I even used the lovely embroided cuff for a border. Notice the little hearts all embroided out of a flower stitch. Didn't do that though, bought it that way. (smile)
Thanks for looking and enjoy.

You cut up your PJ's? Wow, that's dedication to the TLC girlfriend! I love your card, and I'm glad you're sending it to Sue. I didn't realise there was something wrong so I'll go and read about it now. Thanks for the link :)

I love the embroidered cuff - that was what I noticed first. I was looking at an old moth-eaten real cashmere shawl from cashmere, but I thought if I cut it, the embroidery would unravel. But as a border, or even base - hmmm. This is such fun - sure to bring a smile.
