For this particular VSN challenge, the challenge was to use the crinkled cardstock technique, salad colours, plus an Italian sentiment.
The view is the card both opened and closed....
I used crinkled cardstock to make the wilted lettuce (garden green and rich razzleberry flowers with certainly celery stems, tied with old olive ribbon). The razzleberry reminds me of radicchio colour. The Italian sentiment is "Compleanno Felice" which means (I hope) Happy Birthday. And then the inside was sprayed with glimmer mist in old olive....I tried to create a mask to make the frame. It worked OK I think.
