I made this card for our Virtual Trip. This card is for Austria. The challenge was to use salt in some way on the card in honor of Salzburg. I made a salt background using Regal Rose and Melon Mambo. I also sprayed it with Shimmer Mist and rolled it with gold ink on a marbling wheel. I was trying to capture the Baroque opulence we saw on the trip. A big thanks to our guide Michelle.

Oh, Patty, this is so beautiful. You really did capture the baroque look. I love all the gold and the way the background turned out like brocade. An Austrian tribute, for sure!

I need to look up the instructions for the salt background - this turned out beautiful! And I need to find out what a gold marbling wheel is. Don't know what it is, but it looks great on your card!

This turned out so lovely, Pat! I love the rich colors in your background, and the gold embossing is the perfect Salzburg touch. Thanks for going on the trip with me!
