This week on SCS Judy aka StampingQueenJAR hosted the *What Were Those Colors Anyway?* limited supply challenge. The recipe called to use either your wedding colors or your high school colors. The only other limit was to choose an embelishmement from Judy's list. I chose clips. I'm too embarrassed to tell you my 70's wedding colors: believe me when I say these high school colors are definitely the better of the two choices: I used my High School Colors of Green, Black and Silver. I also designed a card using my high school Mascot: GO PANTHERS! the digiart is a freebie from silhouettesclipart.com. I downloaded the kittie, mounted her on thin chipboard and cut her out. She is adorned with a tricot satin bow and silver pearls.
This card is #1 of a series I am doing for my DIL who loves cats. She recently graduated from college and is job searching. I am going to gift her a cat card every week for encouragement until she finds that PURRfect position! Don't you think kittie looks fabulous for her upcoming interview?
Thanks for looking:
