For today's Limited Supply Challenge, which was to use high school (red, black and white) or wedding colors (eeek! I think it was officially called Auburgine? What IS that?) and a clip or photo turn of our choice. I am also using the sketch from today's challenge on the Whimsie Doodles blog.
I just hurt my hand trying to cut one of the S shaped Hodgepodge clips in half! I tried using my rubber snips first since they generally cut anything around here, then I tried some kitchen snips (I mean hello, they cut through chicken bones?!?), then I broke bad and got out the heavy duty wire cutters from my husband's tools in the garage!! None of them worked!!! Finally, I decided I would just fold it over and what do you know-- it snapped in two. I prefer to believe that all of that cutting I was trying to do loosened it up, just like when you try to open a jar for a long time and someone walks up and opens it on their first try I colored it black with my Copic marker and added the "mini" clip to my card.
Hot Stuff Whimsie and the Hot Stuff sentiment are from Whimsie Doodles.
The Fire Up the Grill sentiment is from Creative Cafe.
The Hamburger is from and old SU! set, called Backyard BBQ.
