I LOVE that technique--such classy handmade embellishments. I used the Top Note die with the aluminum and stamped the sentiment with Black StazOn.
To make the shadow, stamp the chef on white, line up a piece of black cardstock under the white. I usually staple them together a couple of times OUTSIDE of the chef's outline. Cut out both pieces of cardstock at the same time. The result is that you have the chef and his shadow. They match perfectly. Also, the staples were cut off with the scraps, so you don't have to worry about them. Attach the shadow where you want it--flat on the card front. Attach the chef (after dressing him up a bit) with dimensionals, slightly offset from the *shadow*.

Isn't it fun using aluminum cans??!! I love how you snuck the second chef in there with his shadow!! Good thinking!! Very cute card!
