I made this card case using the Captured Card Case My Timeless Template from Papertrey Ink. Talk about super quick and easy! You just print, cut, and assemble! I made the case to hold a set of cards that I was commissioned to make, I wanted something nice to hold the cards so they would get ruined.
I pulled out some retired dsp (Ginger Blossom) to make the box top, and I used close to cocoa for the base. I pulled out the retired Theater ribbon originals to create the ribbon tie closure for my box.
For the box topper, I used the top note die. I made a vanilla and a close to cocoa top note, then cut out the perforated section on the vanilla top note. I stamped the image (from Yummy) in close to cocoa ink. The butterflies are from the SU! Beautiful Butterflies bigz die. I sponged some cocoa ink around the edges of the lower butterfly. The top butterfly was cut out from a piece of (retired) Candy Lane dsp. The butterflies are attached to the top note with dimensionals. I added the pearls to the butterflies with mini glue dots.
Thanks for looking!
