The doubles on my card are two stampings of the wheat and vine images two sponged mountains from the same mask.
This is very quick to do especially if you store the mask to use multiple times.
-First cut the oval mat to the panel size, I secure the panel to my table top then the mask over it and also to the table top.
-Next tear a piece of paper to form the mountain and save both pieces to be used later.
-Cover the sky area and sponge the mountain staying on the lighter shade with ink. Next youÂ’ll move the mask and sponge the second mountain with the same ink but sponging darker.
-Cover the mountain area and sponge on the yellow covering the entire space, before you’re completely done add the sun mask which is a ½” circle punched from a post it note.
-Sponge on orange keeping it heavier on the bottom; cover the entire area with at least one hit of sponge. Remove the sun mask and sponge lightly over the area.
-Stamp the wheat and vine images using a stamp positioner.
-Remove the mask and add the flower; itÂ’s inked up using markers. Use a stamp positioner for this process in case you need to add more color.
-Glue on the butterflies, stamp the sentiment and itÂ’s ready to assemble.
I can do one of these in fifteen minutes or less (card front only).
-A TIP FOR SPONGING: my card panel is secured to the table top with repositional tape.
-I set my ink pad on a piece of foam shelf liner so it doesn't slide.
-Hit the ink pad wtih the sponge and go directly to the image panel and continue in a back and forth motion until you're happy with the depth of color.
-My motions are very quick and it really speeds up the process. Hope that helps a bit!
