I really liked the *extreme* watercoloring of the flower in the background, so I did the same on my card. I went with this Color Challenge Forums at Splitcoaststampers since I so rarely grab Handsome Hunter or Bravo Burgundy.
I inked up the stamp by coloring it directly with markers. I misted the watercolor paper heavily with water and also misted the rubber and then stamped it. Oh, it ran and bled all over the place! Once it was dry, I inked up the stamp again using the same marker technique and stamped the image again on the watercolor paper. I intensified the image by coloring it with the markers. (So Saffron, Bravo Burgundy and Handsome Hunter)
I grabbed my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to perfectly stamp the sentiment and then added a clear button, which was layered on a 3/4" Bravo Burgundy circle and *threaded* with a thin strip of So Saffron. This panel is layered on Handsome Hunter and adhered to the So Saffron card base.

Wow, Regina, I LOVE this technique. What a fabulous card you ended up with. I've never tried that before. Hmm...another thing to add to my list to try. I love your clear button and PERFECTLY aligned sentiment!!! LOL!! I just started using my stamp-a-majig that I've had for quite some time. Boy, does that ever help. Who'd have known!!! Again, love your card Regina! TFS!
