1. This is the card I made for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge. It was inspired by this teapot that is the property of Kris (KrisChir). Kris sent me this picture months ago cuz she thought I might have fun featuring it on my blog. Guess what Kris? I did! Giggle...its the most precious little teapot!!! I did have fun recreating it in paper! Thank you for sharing it with me! You can see the card I made here.
2. It seems our airfare has not been paid for the last three weeks of travel so we are staying grounded this week at least until someone pays it and we can get back to traveling. I can't remember who told me they would pay our air fare! Oh well, maybe the *check is in the mail*!
3. I thought it would be really fun to have an afternoon tea and then a nice sit down dinner! The good news is I hired a new caterer, one that could easily feed a large party of tea potters! The bad news is, how was I supposed to know they were CAT-erers not caterers and that the menu would not be that appetizing! So, it's Plan B, a pot luck! If you can't bring a dish, just come in the back door!
If you would like to join our teaparty the details and all of the other cards in the Teapot Tuesday Parade are on my glob.

Cute kitties, but can they cook now. I see little fishies and carrots! The whipped cream on the pie looks yummy though. What a fun teapot again this week. I love that we are having dinner because you know what treats will do to us at some point!!!
Love your kitties even if they don't seem to know what they are doing, except for the pie of course. Let get in there soon. LOL

Got to say again how much I loved this - I've been back to look at it a couple of times. I snuck some catbaret artistes into the photo of my card, so they can entertain us with some caterwauling - or maybe not, do you think?

Your delightful cats look very interested in something other than what they are cooking. Oh my goodness! I hope someone didn't bring tuna fish salad to the pot luck. Perfect copies of the cats on the teapot but then we wouldn't expect less from you. You must be very busy with the teapot challenge and the DD gallery opening tomorrow.

Oh Cindy! What cute lil CAT-erers! I am glad you were grounded this week, if just for seeing these cute critters! Altho, they do have that look in their eyes that something Catish is about to happen! Trouble! I love cats! (My kittie is working on a sweet dish right now to share!) I love these wild and bold colors. Thanks for another great inspiration piece! MEOW!

Cindy, I love your little paper crafted card based on Kris's little kitty teapot. I love how you did their eyes. They don't look like they are up to any mischeif.. Yeah right!!

Love this whimiscal teapot and the awesome card you made to go with it.
Wow, you do so well making them match. Caterer's, huh. I think I will bring some yummy little cucumbers sandwiches to go with Darla's Soup.
I am sure it will all work out ok, this bunch sure knows how to do pot luck. Hmmm, off to do a card.

Okay. I am mad at you for two reasons:
1. You have not won us lots and lots of money so I can quit my stupid job and be at the tea party when I wanna be at it----like ALL DAY LONG!!
2. You are so talented. You can re-create anything....absolutely ANYTHING! I tried to re-create these cute kitties with my punches and such and they looked like they came from another planet. They didn't look like kitties at all! They were stupid looking kitties.
BUT, I am glad that you let me bring my m&ms and just throw them around all over da place and that you let me be rowdy and rambunctious and outta order all de time, so I guess I'll forgive you for number 2 above (but not number 1 yet). Bwaaa-haaaa-haaaa!
This is so cute, Gertie. Every little detail is perfection. I really do admire your talent for cardmaking and story telling! You da woman!

I'm with Charlene..I tried to recreate these cute little kitties too.. then I tried to draw and cut out a tea pot.. hmmm guess where that is.. hee...
so I went to our fave little furry kittie... aka~Chef know-it-all!
my first time at the tea party, I can see that I have been missing a lot...
I hope Chef know-it-all behaves and isn't to critical of all the fine foods that are arriving for the party....
I would hate to see him get into a fight with Mr.Mouse holding the tray of cupcakes that Miss M brought to the party..
there could be quite an uproar with all the party goers protecting Mr. Mouse from all the cats...
I can just see the fur fly and hear the squeeling from here... oh my!
I think everyone will be way to full to get into that kind of trouble...
ok, enough ramblings on...
I am no story teller... just trying to jump in and get my feet wet..
your card is so darn cute Cindy.. I love every little detail!!
thanks for bringing such fun every tuesday and always!
Hugs!

This is adorable. I really cannot believe the talent you have in recreating ANYTHING. Cats, Hats, Bats, Rats, Mats.... you name it MM can create it. Super job.
