I needed to make a birthday card for my dad's 80th birthday, he used to play all the time, but now he teaches young kids how to golf so I thought I would make another golf card for him. I also made the same card for my DH's grandfather who will be 85yrs old.
I started with purple bazzill cs as the base. I used tangerine cs and used the SU Mat Stack for the piercing on top and the bottom. I layered with DCWV dp and again with purple bazzill cs. I stamped the monkey with black stazon on GP white cs, used a large circle punch. I used one of my daughter's bracelets to trace onto purple bazzill cs, then cut out with scissors. I colored him with BIC It Markers and outlined with a Cool Gray Copic Marker. The image is raised with a 3D square. I also stamped the sentiment with black stazon onto GP white cs, then used a medium circle punch. I also used a larger circle punch with the purple bazzill cs. It is also raised with a 3D square. I also decided to use liquid applique for the golf ball.

Very nicely done! I just love the idea of using an argyle background with the golfing changito. How brilliant! You did a great job lining up the jewels too!!
