I finally played with my Manhattan embossing folder. So many great cards done with this in the gallery. I kept seeing stained glass in this image, so that's what I tried to achieve here.
I used the brayered vellum technique (on the back side or debossed side) with Regal Rose ink. Then, still working on the back side, I added shading to the edges of the petals with the Regal Rose marker and blended with a blender pen.
To look more like solder lines, I carefully traced the image lines on the front (embossed) side with a black Sharpie. Then, to add more of the look of stained glass, I covered the front of the image with Versamark, smooshing the pad all over it, and then embossed with clear EP.
I ran the colored image through my Xyron machine, attached it to a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out the roses.
The leaves were stamped with Always Artichoke ink on Old Olive cardstock, cut out, arranged and attached with mini glue dots onto the Urban Oasis DP before adhering the roses on top of them.
The words on the sentiment were embossed with black detail EP and traced with a blender pen and Kiwi Kiss ink, then mounted with dimensionals.
The finished card measures 5 x 6 1/2 inches.

The roses and leaves are so beautiful! Very much a stained glass appearance. I love how you dotted the oval to match the ribbon, too. Wonderful colors. It's so nice to see your lovely stamped creations, Linda!
