This is my card for the Ways to Use it challenge this week which was to make a Christmas card. I will say, Julia, that for ME, it was a challenge. To think about Christmas when we just barely got summer. Yikes! Maybe if I keep at it, I can come up with a real one by this evening. LOL
Christmas has to be fires in the fireplace, hot chocolate and cold weather. Well, in WI it does. So right now I'm into planting flowers.
I used SU Peaceful Wishes for the stamp. I made trees out of the bough stamp and decorated one of them with red jewels and - you guessed it - a gold flower because I didn't have a star handy.
The trees are stamped with Ranger Distressed Pine Needles and the sentiment with Stazon Jet Black. They are stamped on Ivory Naturals and the red layer is Marcos Carnival Cover. One corner is pierced. Merry Christmas!

What's not real about this! It had me wishing I hadn't forgotten about a pine sprig stamp that I got recently in a clear set. I think this is just perfect, I'd love it on my mantelpiece. Thought I'd left a comment last night, but I must shut down the PC before it posted.
