My take on this weeks My Favorite Challenge Recycle. I decided to recycle my DD's binder from last school year that she wanted to throw away (in perfect condition I might add) because it's sooooo not cool to use the same binder from 7th to 8th grade for a 12 y/o (imitating flipping hair like child did while rolling eyes). So, I took it to put my grandfathers pictures that I use for inspiration. He has such wonderful pictures of the ocean, flowers, rocks (who would think a rock could be inspiring?), rivers/streams, you name it) so they could all be safe.
I started by stippling the ocean from the bottom up in: SU brilliant blue, pacific pointe, bashful blue, then sand in close to cocoa & creamy caramel. Stamped my images in memento black. The smaller WTG from By The Seashore was first then the taller WTG from Gone to the Dogs next. The rest of the images were stamped on MFT perfect panels and cut out with one of the seagulls popped up. Everything was colored with prismacolor markers. Added a big prima for a sun, however used a blue one to keep with a ocean feeling.
Added Making Memories chipboard letters to the side of the binder to spell: INSPIRE then added SU felt fusion flowers with brad centers.
