NOTE: I want to say that the "sewers" are not what you think they are these days. Vincent from "Beauty and the Beast" show (http://www.google.fr/imgres?imgurl=h...um=5&ct=image), has moved to the Dublin sewers, and his place looks like the finest condo's you would find in New-York City, I tell you no lie. That said here is what happened to me on the way to Dublin.
Got on the plane, well in the luggage suite, renos on the house cost more than I thought, so had to be "frugal" while traveling. Anyway, got in early to get some fine chocolat, at "La chocolaterie", yes, downtown Dublin. Was running late by then, and met Vincent. He showed me a quicker way to the Botanical gardens by the sewers. I felt him getting all worried when Catherine was coming down from work. Shish! Those underground beasts huh!
All that, and I still made it to the garden with my box of chocolates. Got my hat, so I can come in the front door too.
P.S. I didn't eat all the caramels now girls, guess who did?
Then, there is the Midnight Madness challenge, Priscilla Styles hostesses every week, and it makes me go out of my box, thank you for those gorgeous sketches all the time. Great challenge for me! You can find it here:
Then, last bu not the least, the Flourishes challenge this week, is from Dee Jackson. She challenges us to use cut out and popped-up images. My little hat lady is, though it does not show up much on the card, but honest, she is. You can find the challenge here:
-I thought I had two doves, but one must have flown away.
-My little peach threads bows are kind of weird, but I like the design they make.
-Thank you M, for the hat lady, she came in quite handy here.
-Thank you Sabrina for inviting us over to Dublin and sharing some flower soft and image.
Thank you all girls for taking the time to read me, this one is a doozee huh. Oh, I had to say, I actually dipped my brads, for I had no copper left.
Thanks for looking and read (if you have the time) and enjoy.

This is awesome, Peggy! You did a magnificent job on all three challenges! Love the soft background and wonderful scene! The Flower Soft is terrific! And your hat lady popping out of the sewer if perfect! The little bows and brads are great details! Glad you made it to the Dublin tea party without incident, even if you had to come through the sewer to get there! Mind if I have one of those chocolates?

Hee-hee! What a fun story, Peggy! At first I thought that was Mary Poppins poppin' outta da sewer til I read your delightful story! Your flower soft is absolutely lovely in full bloom, and I like the cool effect of your peach thread around the copper brads. What a beautiful scene you've created.
I hope you had a grand time travelin' through da sewers with Vincent. One thing you'll learn about me, is that I don't pull any punches. So, I'm sorry, but I ain't eatin' no chocolate that traveled through the sewers. Sumpin' just doesn't smell right about that. Bwaaaa-haaaa-haaaaa!

Wow, doesn't the Flower Soft look wonderful on that tree. Sorry you had such a strange detour on the way here, but it sure gave you a story to share. And you even managed not to lose your hat. I always think they're hard to travel with because they get squashed too easily in the airplane. I love those little wiggly bows .

Sweety.... If you are schlepping around the sewers with Vincent you have bigger problems than I thought!!! He's dead honey! Is he a handsome, HOT Vampire now? Or, are you sadly slipping... You are due to call me any minute, so I WILL find out Sistah!
Oh, in the tradition of MotherMark: This is not my comment.

Wow, what a beautiful AND funny card! I love the scene. Your dove must have a mate, cuz he is gathering twine for the love nest! The hat lady on the bottom just cracks me up! Fabulous colors and HEY, when did you get flower soft?!
PS: Are you sure after coming out of the sewer that is CHOCOLATE and not something else? Remember Caddy Shack?
