I love the look of the sneak peak Cindy gave us for the tea-party this week - looking forward to seeing it. Based on the keyword / tea-word :for anyone who came on my Whistle-stop tour of the Dublin Botanic Gardens, I thought we could enjoy a quiet leisurely cup of tea in the gardens before the rowdies arrive. (Actually, I have to confess that after years of wishing they would open a cafe in the gardens, when they finally did the sad truth is that anything they offer , I can make much better myself, so we always just come home again and have our coffee and cake here. But they did include a wonderful exhibition centre, and I shared a photo of an amazing teapot from a quilting exhibition with Cindy.) Been meaning to use these stickers for ages - they were a freebie from Frantic Stamper, and they're starting to fall apart, they've been on my desk so long. And the Modern Grid challenge from the CCEE stampers made a good background for the little tea scene.
My base was the grid technique - I used Roses in Winter for the flowers, leaves from Friendship Blooms and a suitably polka-dotted t from Hero Arts (ColorBox Chalk Warm Green and Creamy Brown, and Pigment Merlot) and drew the lines with a dark blue Marvy Marker. I cut a white Labels 1, drew on some patio paving and stamped the leaves from Roses in Winter in ColorBox Pigment Pistachio. I added the stickers and popped the whole thing up on foam dots.
Oh dear - I used Merlot ink. Hope that nobody finds the rest of the Merlot, this is meant to be an unlicensed premises. But gee, with the usual tea-party attendees, I don't hold out much hope.

What a wonderfully creative card once again, Sabrina! I love your tea table all pristinely clean and set...how long do you think that will last?
Well, you've set a precedent for the party...hopefully the rest of us will follow suit!
Thanks for sharing your card, it's marvelous!

What a great start to the tea party! You have created a wonderful scene. It looks just as you described your botanical gardens, peaceful, calm and quiet. I love the background with your T's and the little table and chairs are precious!
The background grid was a great choice to use here and how fun that you were able to combine the two challenges. Who'd a thunk. You have proved that a grid can be enjoyable!
Thank you for hosting us in Ireland! Its beautiful here and you are a good, good cook! Better than the little cafe at the Gardens! Ooh! Gotta go find that woven teapot and take a look at it again!

Sabrina, great job with the grid TRICK. I love how you have the little letter Ts spread all around. The stickers are so cute. I am glad we are coming to visit you this week.
