I had a little bit of fun with these cards....I started off making a Wedding card for the Creative Crew Challenge, using the colour challenge fom Our Creative Challenge. I used the bride stamp that I received in a RAK from Sue (aka coffeestamper aka Perk) which set the tone for the wedding card - CAS, which in itself is a challenge for me. As I was making it, it got me to thinking about Weddings....
Now, I do want to state before I go any further, that I am happily married with a fabulous husband...but I was thinking about the Wedding Day and all that it brings. It seems to me, that no matter now organised you are...at some point in the day, the stress gets to you, hence the second card - The image on the second card made me laugh when I saw it...it is stamped off from my friend Deb's stamps...along with a few others...I am sure they will 'see the light of day' before too long! LOL!!
Both cards have embossed backgrounds, with the image being stamped onto Nestie, then chalked. The Bride has Kindy Glitz on her dress and veil to make it look special for the occasion! It also has a 'Funky Heart' by Fiskar punched out of embossed hearts, it is sponged and has ribbon threaded through and an embellishment added. paper piercing finished this card off. The 'Stress' card has a strip of DP with scalloped border added across the middle and Die Cuts from Provo added. This too is finished off with paper piercing!
Thank you for looking, now, back me up here - or is it only me that felt like this!! There is more of me..and this story...on my Blog: http://lovelylindascraftcentral.blogspot.com/

Lovely piercing on both of the cards!! Fun and funky - and wonderful too!! It is so different seeing white space on your cards!! They both still look wonderful! I'm afraid I tend to make CAS kind of cards all the time - I just don't have your gift for layers and sponging!!

What? Well, I have never been stressed one day of my life with the Buckle Man, and our wedding was perfect! Ok, so I'm a BIG li-ah! Lol- how funny sis. Your cards are a delight! Love the colors and wonderful texture. Beu-ti-ous!

So pretty Linda. Love the scrolls and the scalloped oval frames. I hope I never get stressed out like this poor little guy. Love the bride image and the charm heart...is that blue! Cool. TFS

What great ideas and thoughts on these cards and love the scrolls, frames, piercing, sparkle, heart charm. Love that stressed out card that goes with the whole theme!!! You did such a fabulous job Linda as you do on all your cards. They are so interesting to look at and, most importantly, to feel your personality through them!! Great job my friend! TFS!

I was 37 when I married my DH. So, I guess I had been around the block enough not to stress on that day! I was SO HAPPY. I did stress before because I fell down the stairs and tore some ligaments in my ankle. That brings back funny memories of riding in wheelchairs and carts all around getting the wedding put together as I did it all myself. As Mothermark would say... This is not my comment.

How selfish of me... Anyway these are adorable. Perhaps there will be a niche for that stressed card in that gorgeous shop that sells your cards! I'll bet they get a lot of brides and mothers of the brides!
Besides these cards being fun, I laugh (at you) because this is probably as simple as you could get! Love Ya Sistah!
