Yikes it was a long flight to Hershey, but I finally made it!
I have sooo many cards to make in the next several days that each one is going to have to pull double or triple duty for me to get it all done!
This card is for this week's teaparty, I used the MOJO93 sketch and it will be winging it's way to Dawn in Africa.
The base is Colors & Cuts sage, topped with Bordering Blue, topped with an unknown Florentine dp from Italy. The butterflies were done on the CB out of Bazill, used a gold gel pen then embossed the top butterfly in clear EP. Added tiny pearls and over that added Crystal Effects to the body. The butterfly rests on a gold scroll frame created on the CE with the Storybook cartridge, as was the scroll behind the message oval.

This is an absolute beauty. It is sure to lift Dawn's spirits. I love the pearls and the gold scroll work. You know I love the butterfly. I love the floral paper that you used. It looks a lot like the teapot. We are all getting in line to have the chocolate facial at the spa.

Well I guess it is a long flight...but now you can relax in a choc bath and have a nice relaxing Massage Therapy to relieve the jet lag stress. LOL...your card is absolutely beautiful. I will put this in my fav for sure. It is done with elegance. TFS

You stamping mid-week? Just peeking in before I head to bed. DH has spent the last 4 weeks NOT deciding what he wanted for his birthday, so I have to get up early tomorrow and nip into town to buy at least a token present - so bed is calling.
I am glad that it is mostly butterflies that have been drawn to the lights at the teaparty, and not moths or midges. That gold scroll-work is just lovely, I am sure Dawn will be so happy to receive this. Like the rainbow I chose, I think butterflies too carry a message of hope for the future. In fact, I have a great adult illustrated story-book about caterpillars turning into butterflies, and one little 7 year-old girl, after her gran read it to her, said very solemnly that it was one of the deepest books she knew.
Love that dainy lace - great match with the paper.

Oh, M, imagine seeing a card made by you on a Thursday. It is Thursday, isn't it? I never know any more - isn't that sad? Wow, this is fabulous. I LOVE the work and details you put into the b/fly, the scrolls, the paper, border punch, lace ribbon and pearls!!! This is a real winner!!! TFS!

WELCOME TO Hershey Park! Oh it is so much fun there!! Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate! Your card is just beautiful. I have to agree, Butterflies carry a wonderful message. We use the butterfly image for work all the time. When we made the new logo for my company, I insisted on having a butterfly somewhere in the image. I love the gold trim too!
