Let's get this party started!!! That said,
today at Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday party we were to go light....light colors, light refreshments and sunglasses to block all that light. I brought a hat instead. We will be going to Hershey Park, not quite sure where or what that is but it sounds chocolaty and I like chocolate.
I brought some faux bees. They are light bulbs dressed as bumble bees in case any lights go out. I also brought a faux teapot. It is really a watering can turned into a teapot light.
As you all know I never use the front door, that's just not me. So I brought a *faux* friend. I dressed up the empty socket to look like my buddy.
Well, I really hope someone snuck in some *strong* tea. I have had another one of those days and light tea just won't cut it! lol
Looking forward to the light show! Hope you like my card........TFL :0)

Oh, I am so glad you are here, Cathy! The tea party just wouldn't be the same without you.
I'm not crazy about bees, but I must admit yours are quite adorable, and I love the pretty watering can teapot! Your creativity with the light socket is outrageous; just make sure da Muddermark doesn't try to stick her fingers in the socket. She's such a silly goose.

I've been laughing all along Cathy. Just reading your story. At first glance, I didn't notice your bees were light bulbs, the teapot was a watercan, and your friend the "empty socket". WOW, that could be missconstrued if you know what I mean. I just love your card, and all the laughs and giggles it brings. Such beauty mixed in a lot of fun! Love the light background. TFS my friend.

Ooooo I LURVE it, Cathy! It is so tame, if not for all of the items in disguise! Light bulb bees, and teapot night lights! Your hat is awfully close to that socket, BE CAREFUL! If you have a fancy doodad hanging off of it like Ms. Anne Ryan might, it might cause an arc and we'll burn down Hershey, PA...that's Pennsylvania, you Westerner! This card is really too adorable for words....I just wanna draw scenes around my images like you, you make it look effortless!

I just read some of the previous comments, and now I SEE the face in the light socket! Is that like one of those psychological ink blot tests...was I supposed to notice that first....oh no, am I a dunce?!

I'm coming up so let's get this party started!
Is your little faux friend whose is really a light socket dressed up like a buddy per chance someone named *PINK*. Are you star struck by the light? Hmmm....pink is all over the card, you are singing Pink's lyrics and pretty much Cathy, when you show up, the party get's started. I will be singing Get the Party started all night! Giggle!
I think this might be one of my favorite tea pot cards! I love, love, the light showing through. I love the little bees, I love the hat, I love the colors and believe it or not I like the song too! Hee!
Your cards are creative and fun! If you did not come to one of my tea parties I just might not speak to you when I see you in the grocery store!
Oh and by the way, I got the idea of putting Marilynn's little teapot pin in my picture from you silly goose! I think you are the first that started that! I saw Bertie did it too! Its our trademark you know......the tea partiers sign that we were there! Hee!
Better you call my kitchen a shower than a toilet! Snort! That Bertie is gonna get beat up by Gertie, just you wait and see!
His Sis! I know if the party is starting for Cathy, its starting for you too!
