This is for today's technique challenge TLC227 which was to create a project using faux burnt edges. The details on the technique and the challenge thread can be found here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
This was the perfect opportunity to use one of these beautiful horse images I stamped out last week. A friend of mine has this stamp, which is appropriately named Beauty. Unfortunately, I didn't think to check on who the manufacturer is.
Used a one my new nestie dies to make the Becca-style medallion in the background. Photo corners were distressed using dtp and the same three colors of distress ink that were used on the main image. Beauty was colored with my neglected Stampin' Pastels. I wanted the color to be very soft. DP in the bg is the same Bella Birds SU dp that has been sitting on my desk for the past week or so. Most of what I have done has included this paper because it's been handy and I love it!!
Thanks Lynn for an awesome technique!! This was fun!!
Thanks for taking a closer look!
