This is my card for the Inspiration Challenge. The objects were from the Sarah Collier Gallery and I was inspired by the middle sample. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I love maps. I collect maps. Old maps. New maps. All maps. For my card I copied an old Readers Digest map of Southern Africa and used the part from Tanganika which is present day Tanzania. We have missionary friends there, so my heart is always partly there.
I copied the part of the map I wanted to use and cut it to fit. Then I aged it with Ranger Distressed Vintage Photo. Same with the scrap of dp which I think is K& Co. I stamped the Mystery Woman on the map and the key from SU Antique Collectibles on the dp.
I call her Mystery Woman because the stamp is not labeled and we don't know who she is. I am not sure even SHE knows where she is going. Maybe to be a missionary, maybe to meet the love of her life. The key could be the key to her heart or the key to her cabin or the key to old Africa. You choose. I had fun. tfl

oh, Carol...I am gazing on a gorgeous treat. This card is fabulous, love how you collaged your favorite things...I have always admired that image (I love back shots) and she is so perfect on the map. And what's not to like about the Graphic 45 label sheet. Totally wonderful!

I found this card as I was looking for an inspirational card for today.. Women's Day. It's an international Holiday in South Africa. Your maping and the Mystery Woman stamp seemed to be right on point with what I was thinking and feeling!!! I am truly inspired by this one!! TFS!!
