Base card is vanilla confetti. Layer of recycled heavy cardstock cover for a notebook – edges roughed up and inked with Distress Ink Old Paper. I used the SU! ( Argyle) background – using Distress Ink Fired Brick – but it is so covered it is difficult to see. Next layer is DP from BasicGrey Cupcake paper pad.
I cut up a gift enclosure card (by Carlton Cards) I purchased long ago knowing I would NEED it someday. I pulled the die-cut little black dress held by a dimensional from the card. I doused it with Inkssentials Crackle Accents. I cut the words “little black dress” from the card. The card itself was pink bubble gum color – so I grundged it up with brown and olive conte’ pastels. This is layered onto an light olive green piece of cardstock.
The muslin tag with the brown stitches and huge eyelet was recycled. It was the garment maker tag (HUGE – huh?). I over-stamped the tag with a script background (Stampabilities-Le London Script)using Distress Ink Old Paper. I added the olive green flower on white brad. The eyelet is so heavy I was afraid the adhesive might not hold and I wanted a brad pierced through to the base layer.
The tape measure stamped image was rescued from a card someone else made so I donÂ’t know the stamp company. I roughed up the edges and smudged with Distress Ink Fired Brick. The purse was rescued from a store bought thank you card (New Season) that I received. I over-stamped it with the script background a few times so it would look smudged. Then I used Ranger Clear EP and blackened the edges. It is attached here with a dimensional. The butterfly, I believe is SU!, is water colored, varnished and highlighted with Crackle.
The vintage dress image was a pre-printed, fashion die cut tag – purchased who knows where (came in an assortment package). I over stamped it using Distress Ink Fired Brick and a Live, Love, Laugh, Learn stamp from EK Success. I then covered the die-cut tag with Crackle Accents. This is adhered to a square of SU! Cardstock (a buttery yellow) and this then adhered to a layer of light olive cardstock. The three light yellow eyelets are StampinUp!. It is also attached with dimensionals.
Yellow shank button (with shank removed) that reminded me of a ladies hat added at the last minute. Attached with Zots 3D dots.
