Wowzers Steph, how do you keep coming up with these awesome sites! Today, I have so many ideas floating in my head. Hopefully I will be able to do another one later today. My head is spinning!!!..... Here is one of the places I was inspired by today. Lots of old photos. hmmmmm.....
Dug out some old photo albums, I say old because it seems like since everything went full bore digitial, I haven't really put any new albums together. Note to self: make a photo album of newer pictures. Anyway, I went pretty far back to find this photo of my sister and me. Obviously it was when we were much younger. In was already in black and white! Printed it out.
Put it on a white cs panel that I ran through the script cb then sponged with vintage photo. Used photo corners.
Stamped the very true sentiment, then cut out each word, sponged edges and put on card.
Added some flowers I have had for a very very long time, and some vintage ribbon.
Put the whole thing on a white card sponged pacific blue then black soot. Well, as you can see, I'm not that good at collages. But I tried. .....TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Remember this?

Oh you are both so cute!! Gosh! I have a sister born in 1961 just like me - me Jan 61 , my sister Nov of 61 too! We are together in every picture until my next sister and two brothers * made the scene*. You have such a close and wonderful relationship with your sister!! I am very fortunate too - but my sisters don't make card!! boo hoo!!!
Such fun bit of history in front of my eyes! Beautifully done with the flowers and the CB writing! Hi Connie Jo!! I know what it's like to have to be the big sister!! Sigh!!!! ;)

Me in my ponytail and bangs and my little sis with the Marilynn Monroe look!!! If you were to see our pictures, this t-shirt shows up in a lot of them. I think that was one reason our dad was happy we went to Catholic school where we wore uniforms. He only had to find an outfit on Sundays and the rest of the time we wore jeans and t-shirts. I hated our Sunday dresses....they itched!!! Memories......thanks, sis!!!
hugs,

AWWWWWW! What a treasure you've created here! The both of you are just darling, itchy clothes or not!
Had to laugh out loud at your Note to Self comment! I do that all the time and high on my list is to resume creating photo albums. I believe I left off somewhere around 1995. I'd say I've got some catching up to do! ;-)
Thanks for sharing this adorable, loving card!

Cathy, how cute are you sweeties! I love this background, used it early this morning. Don't you love going down memory lane sometimes. Gee, to be 4 or 5 and hanging out. Looking at the camera with selfassured faces. Adorable card, your sis will love it, won't you Connie. Oh and love the matching outfits. Wasn't that fun!
