This week's TSC was to do an "elegant" card. I studied about this for a while and looked through my stamps and couldn't find something that struck me as "elegant". Most of you who know me understand I'm not what you'd call and "elegant" sort. Then I came across this note pad I got when I ordered some stamps from Clear Art STamps. And since I don't think there is anything more elegant than the shape of a woman, this is what I came up with. No stamps involved. I did use a Copper Metalic Marker from Creative Memories to make a border around the image panel and then added faux stitching. I used one of Martha Steward's scalloped edge punches but put it on the diagonal just to do something different. Thinking I needed to do something with the bare blank corner, I added a rub-on I got from the discount isle at Hobby Lobby (my usual hangout). The DP is also from Hobby Lobby. I tried to add depth by outlining the form with a Copic marker and then added a chiffon ribbon. Also mounted the sentiment on Chocolate Chip CS. This is about as close to "elegant" as I can get.
