Man, this sketch for the Verve release week challenge sure was a tough one for me! I'm still not entirely pleased with the result, but I don't have the patience to fuss with it anymore!
I stamped the rose 3 times onto PTI white cardstock, then sponged each of them with brilliance orchid for some shimmer and colorbox rouge. I cut out and layered the petals, then mounted the whole thing onto a PTI spring moss scalloped circle (it is more pastel IRL).
For the bottom diagonal, I embossed PTI Sweet Blush with the Manhattan flower folder, trimmed the top, and then cut off the bottom.

I thought this was a tough sketch too (I don't do well with assymetrical stuff) but I LOVE your take on it - VERY clever using that folder for the lower left corner Meg! I like your sponging and how you made the middle flower multi-dimensional. Very nice. Good luck - hope you win some stamps!
