This card is for today's Limited Supplies Challenge(LSC226)!!! Thanks so much, Wendy!!! I do not know what motivated me more....my Chinese food thoughts....love some steamed dumplings and vegetable lo mein(wish it came in multigrain), or the a la carte stamping menu!!! I loved choosing from the groups.
For this card we had to keep it masculine
Here is what I chose.
Menu #1 – Images (just pick one item from each menu!)
3. Neutral Images
Menu #2 – Color Schemes
3. Neutrals
Menu #3 – Embellishments (this is where it can get tricky!)
1. Ribbon & Brads OR Eyelets (tie masculine KNOTS instead of girly BOWS)
I am showing you another sneak peek of two more sets that will be released by ODBD on July 1st. The Amazing Grace Hymn is a single image and is fantastic because it can act as a background or focal image. I am also showcasing the Grow in Grace set.
To keep my card masculine which was part of today's LSC theme, I stamped a few of the dogwood image as part of the background and I did not color them. I also used one of the sentiments. The Grace acronym is awesome!!! It truly says it all.
I finished my card with a few altered dew drops instead of brads. I added gold metallic markers to give them an aged feel. I also used the embossing heat tool to heat my organdy ribbon to make the look alittle more manly.
Please check out this link to see my other ODBD sneak peek on SCS.
Please check out this blog post for more card details. Thanks so much!

I really like your dogwood background, and the vintage-without-being-distressed feel to this. Funny, I was only thinking the other day that I must check out the forum for translating songs and hymns into French and see if Amazing Grace has made it there yet. Seems to me strange that I know it in Swahili and have yet to find even a bad French translation, let alone a good one.

This set is fab Betty, and I love how you made this card, without making it girly!! The green brads are just the right (Wright) touch. (Sorry- I couldn't resist!)
