Here is a card I created for one of Verve's sketch challenge (always fun to try to win free stamps right?). Since I still needed three more cards for my CCC09 challenge for June, I decided to go with a holiday theme.
The image is from a holiday stamp set from Walmart that a kind friend snagged for me when I was not able to find them in the stores near me. The central image was colored with Copic Markers and cut from Gina K. Luxury cardstock with Nesties then popped up with Pop-Its. The bow is from a pre-tied package, I do not recall the manufacturer.
I like this sketch a lot and can it is becoming one of my 'go-to' layouts of the future.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my card, and thanks for the chance to win Verve!

Hi Meredith--this is adorable!! What a cute image Love the textured background, the cute little bow, and especially the sparkly snowflake--great idea! Super colors and layout, too. Definitely a fun holiday card

Ah, man, I *knew* I should have picked up this set when I saw it! You make it look soooo cute with your coloring! And that cute lil' bow! I am loving that gray with the blue & red; I'm going to have to add that to my color combo list. A great card and I hope you win some stamps! (to share! ;) )
