Well, this card was almost the end of my cardmaking career. I started three different cards for this challenge and nothing was working until this one. I won't go on about it since I finally got one I liked. Got to use my crimper and popped up the watermelon which is always good on the 4th of July.

Brenda, I feel your pain, but I also feel your "gain" as this is so clever and wonderful. What an awesome job you did with this 4th of July card based on the MM sketch!!! Love the starts, the crimped paper, the silver pearls, the embroidery floss and that w/melon popped up just finishes it off perfectly. Well done Brenda!! TFS!

Ohh I'm going to have to try a midnight madness sketch sometime soon!! This is so cheerful and I can see that you are ready for the fourth of July!! That watermelon is the perfect touch!
