Well we are off to see the QUEEN today! At Windsor Castle! And we were told to be on our best behavior! So we were all standing sweetly in line in front of the castle, watching the Changing of the Guard, until Cathy (aka Mutnik) showed up. Hmmm mmmm she was dared by MariLynn and Peggy to do something OUTRAGEOUS this week. And Cathy is always up for a challenge...so she donned this polar bear costume and a big furry guard hat and started dancing around in front of the Guards trying to make them laugh! She started singing that 80's tune by Vanilla Ice, "Ice Ice Baby" (visit YouTube to hear it, hee!), and shaking her sign, her tea cup, and her big furry bear fanny! She REALLY wanted to ride in on her Donkey wearing her GRANNY PANTY THONG (I said it!) but he didn't get through customs.
Well, Sabrina tackled Mutnik in line because you just don't DO this in England! And Dawn did a graceful dive, and saved this vintage tea cup in mid-air! And Carla put the hat on, because she said she didn't want to meet the Queen since she was having a bad hair day! And allll the while, Mothermark just laughed, and snickled, and chortled, and snorted, and gave out big SNUGS to everyone waiting in line! She was punch drunk because after a year of teapots she FINALLY got to meet Her English Idol, Queen Elizabeth!
WHEW, now that you have made it to the end of MY STORY, you deserve a prize! I am debuting GALLERY CANDY! It is very hard to give away blog candy when you don't have a blog, but I LOOOOVE candy, especially if I get to share it with friends! Here is the prize....an almost un-used, mostly new Tea for Two set by Papertrey Ink! (Just kidding, I waited and didn't use it, giggle!)
All you have to do for a chance to win is make a card for Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday Challenge #52 and upload it to Splitcoaststampers with the keyword MMTPT52. I will draw a name randomly from all the card entries next Monday night. Then Cindy and I will announce the winner at Teapot Tuesday #53 next week!
Thanks to allll of my teapot friends, and most especially to MOTHERMARK!, for bringing us all together from around the world to enjoy a little tea and a whole lotta laughs every Tuesday! Please stop by next week and join in the fun, as there is room for EVERYONE at Mothermark's house...you'll be glad you did, SNUGS (one snort plus one hug....)

Kelly, your card and story is hilarious. I love the little polar bear costume. I love how you got polka dots onto your card. That little cup is what I noticed first. I think I am suffering from jet lag. I think I am going to just sit on this bench outside the castle and catch some zzz's. I know there is going to be some more excitement even though we should be on our best behavior at the castle.

Jeeze Loueeze! We can't even get through the gates without having issues! What the heck! I thought I had some clout, can't believe we have to wait in line with all of these other yahoos! I betcha they didn't go to 52 teaparties all in a row!
Shh! Here comes the Queens people, I gotta get back to hugging, snorting, chorting and laughing! Giggle! Do you think the Queen already got word of our misbehavior? Hey, all we are trying to do is entertain ourselves in this line!
Kelly, you might possibly be off your rocker but you know what? I totally *get you* which is sorta scary! You know what they say, birds of a feather! And we have quite a flock of crazy people coming to our tea parties!
Your card is creative and fun and so seriously hilarious! If that doesn't make those old quards giggle in their tophats, nuttin' will. Nuttin' I tell ya!

Bertie can't stand next to you in line, Kelly, cause we know who really is the naughty one in the group. She so loves these cute guards and is trying valiantly not to flirt with them so we don't get kicked out before we even get in. Whaaaa? Whadda ya mean this is really Mutnik? Where are the real guards? I woulda never thunk that Sabrina had it in her to tackle anyone. She always seemed so nice. And don't you know that it's not polite to pick on sweet Carla? Her hair always looks marvelous; just check out her avatar. Notta a hair outta place, I tell ya.
Okay, I gotta get away from you cuz you'll lead Bertie astray, but first I gotta tell you that your card is so totally ADORABLE!! What a clever idea, oh naughty one! I love it and your idea to offer gallery candy----so sweet.

Oh Kelly, you have caught me at my best! This costume is perfect. I really needed those shoes after yesterdays post. Love that you all were entertained by my singing and shaking of my big furry bear fanny! I practiced that dance for quite awhile, I'll have you know! Can't believe I let Sabrina sneak in that tackle. So glad Dawn caught the teacup, whew. Would've hated to have broken that. Carla, you are looking good my friend. You don't need no stinking hat! Don't let that Kelly rattle your cage. Muttermark, snort snort to you. Having a blast again at another wonderful teapot party. OH, BTW, love your card Kelly. The story is a hoot! TFS :0)

Hey Kelly...this morning the first thing that Miss Rose and I did was check for the tea party post. You inspired Miss Rose to get all dressed up in her dotted dress and you inspired me to decorate my card with dots...here a dot there a dot...dots everywhere....even behind the polar bear!!! Just love coming to the tea parties and have so much fun.

This card is absolutely hysterical - you are such an artiste, and nearly made me spit my coffee at my computer screen when I should have been sipping tea at the party.
Great start to my morning and I better hoof it over to the party.

Fabulous card, Kelly! Fun story, too! I was wondering what went on with Mutnik, now I have the whole story! Of course Peggy and MariLynn shouldn't have got her going anyway! And you were standing innocently in line...lol! This card is too cute! Love the hat - it was perfect to hide my hair which I didn't have time to fix properly if I was to make it to the tea party on time! Great gallery candy! See you at the castle!

Mutnik in a bear skin and a bearskin hat!! Gosh, she must be melting, it's too hot to think here today, and I bit Windsor is hot too. Better let her get her flamingo granny thong out before she gets heatstroke even worse than she's already had it. When I read Cindy's blog about the guards, I couldn't help thinking of the Wombles (did you get them over there?) - they had a song about the Changing of the Guard. But shhhh, don't tell Cindy - isn't that at Buckingham Palace and not Windsor Castle? But if there's one thing I know after a year of tea-parties, it's that anything can happen.
If that gorgeous mug is full of ice tea or a coffee frappe, pass it here. We need a new big mug, DH just chipped one, and yours looks perfect!

LOL!!! I am not sure what I like better, your story or your card! Both are too funny and entertaining! My 3 year old sitting behind me is saying "mama, what so funny?" Too much! Your bear is a funny little guy! Bottom's up! Opps... sorry that was last week... pinkie's up!
