Father's Day card for Bubba (The Buckle Man). I have loved this TLC since it came out and am so impressed with the cards others had made using this pattern. And it is as difficult as it looks (for me!) Lol- it took a few hours to get the paper to cooperate, but in the end I like it.

Beautiful card for Bubba - he will love it! Pat, the technique looks hard enough without all of the special effects you have on it...this is fabulous - love the torn paper and the embellishments....great card in true Mrs Smethers style!! Thanks for sharing!

I bought my husband some fancy liquer chocolates for Father's day, and I told him that I had to show ID when I purchased them for him!!LOL!!!

It looks like it would take me DAYS to make this card. As if I could. Outstanding creation, Pat! Just gorgeous. Thanks for the links, too. It was fun to see other shutter cards, although I think I like yours best!

Cool card. I was just making one of these for DH's birthday, when he came unexpectedly up into the attic. It was only at the cutting and scoring stage, so he knows he's getting what he called a stairstep card. Hope The Buckle Man appreciated all the work that went into this, because I know that even second time round I didn't find it easy. I am sure I recognise your papers from some of One4Joy's cards - it looks great for masculine cards. I like the charms, escpecially the bike on the off-road trail.
