Sheesh, there've got to be easier ways of using text! Well, of course I know there are, but I thought the WT challenge today was a good time to use a stamp someone gave me for my birthday. TBH it's not my style of stamp and I'd never have bought it, but I thought I'd use it to make my June batch of CCC cards. Not so sure now, given the number of attempts it took to get an image I was happy with.
In the end I stamped with Walnut Stain distress ink on cream card and tore the edges. The base is a 5 3/4" cream square, covered with a burgundy card-stock. The DP is from a K&Co Christmas pad, I distressed the edges and inked them with gold. Apart from that I just added some PTI buttons a friend sent, with burgundy ribbon, some WRMK hardware with a burgundy snap, and some mulberry holly leaves, also with a burgundy snap.
I don't really like it, but it's one more Christmas card down, so that's something positive, at least.
I need to try harder to finish in time for a daylight photo tomorrow, too!

I think you're being too hard on yourself, because I think it's beautiful (of course I am not getting to look into your bin full of rejected attempts, LOL!)

That is a great looking Christmas Card, Sabrina! You are way ahead of me with having even a few of your Christmas cards done! Nice looking vintage card, love the ribbon and the brads. Great job - even if you don't like it!! Just take a few hours and look at it again - I'll bet you'll see it's beauty!

It's beautiful Sabrina. You know you have a knack for making anything your style. TFS Love that image of Santa Claus, I think I have some that look like that from Deena.
I think your card is great. I have trouble with inking intricate stamps like yours. Your color choices are beautiful. Keep up the good work great inspiration.
