The minute I read text was the challenge I knew I was going to use the qoute below with this lantern image I picked up at HL this summer. My husband is an engineer for a short line here in town. We visited the local antique shops this past weekend and came across several of the railroad lanterns. My favorite one was a brushed nickel with a deep blue globe...which was my inspiaration for the colors on this card today. I typed the text in word and just had it repeat the whole way down the paper. The text reads " A father is neither an anchor to hold us back. Nor a sail to take us there. But a guiding light whose love shows us the way". The layout came from this week's MOJO Monday. It's hard to see but I stamped the globe a second time on acetate and cut it out and glued it on top of the colored globe, giving it that glossy shined look. I wrote the sentiment inside the oval hardware. I can't wait to give this to him! Enjoy and thanks for looking
