I haven't posted anything since mid-May as I have been in Chicago visiting my DGD's! But when I saw that Cindy (Mothermark) was hosting a Japanese Tea Party with Sumo Wrestlers, I knew I wanted to participate! I used a sparkle Red as my BG; stamped Script and Bamboo in black; colored Japanese lady using Gamsol technique; added photo corners, primas, brad,& teapot. Now, as you can see, this Japanese lady is very demure and so the Japanese script on the right reads: "I can't drink tea in front of SUMO butts!" I'll meet you all on the terrace....

I'm out there on the terrace waiting, along with MariLynn who is very elegant today too. And you brought your own teapot too - that's good. Keep a close eye on it, someone's spiking all the tea with sake, so if you want to stay demure and elegant, watch out!

Wow - this is so pretty and so in the theme of today's party. Your coloring on the kimono is so delicate and detailed. If your tea isn't spiked, I'd like a cup please.

Hey Girls! We have a new guest today! Hi Linda! Let me fill you in. Okay, since I have been waiting for you all to arrive on the terrace, this is what I have learned:
WHATEVER you do, DON'T step foot in the big circle right there. See that big circle? Cuz if you do, that big fat quy in the diaper will push you out, almost as soon as you step in and some times its sorta violent! He might be our host today but his has an attitude as big as his belly! Shhh! Here he comes!
Oh heck, don't worry about the sushi being flung around the venue and the tea that's been spiked with saki! You will get used to it! And at the end of the day, you just might be able to drink tea in front of Sumo butts! Snort!
So glad you came with this great card! And just think, you getta come in the front door! What's it look like in there? Is it decorated all cool? Giggle! Your card is amazing. I love that you got the teapot in there and the beautiful background is eye catching and just pops! Thanks for coming. I love that you are here.....

I am glad that Sabrina and I weren't the only ones coming in the front door. I always seem to come in the opposite door of everyone else. This image was perfect for this teapot. I didn't know you could read Chinese.

Welcome to the party. You've brought some class and elegance with you. I'll have to bring some scissors with me to cut her dress off at the knees. She's gonna have to do some runnin'. Hope she's not wearing her zori japanese sandals. She's going to need some sneakers.

Great to see you Linda, love your beautiful card. I love the image and the teapot charm. What a fabulous card. TFS

Wow, the saki must be a flowing! People are bringing scissors to shorten this beautiful dress. Boy, I guess being gone for awhile, you forgot how crazy these teapot parties can get. BUT so glad you brought elegance to the party and got to use the front door. Lovely card. TFS :0)
