Hmm - not so sure about how this turned out. But I know I'm not good at sponging, so why would I be any better at daubing? Still, it was fun to try, so thanks Lynn for giving us this technique to try today.
I had flowers in mind, so when I went to choose some acrylics I thought violets, and chose Grape, Hunter Green and Periwinkle, and gold or silver for my metallic - went with gold in the end. I followed the instructions as Lynn described them on the TLC thread for today. I made a bigger sheet and trimmed it down.
My base is A2 gold card. Then my faux handmade paper layer. My main panel is a Magenta vase stamped twice on purple card, once for layering up. This panel was matted onto some dark green Bazzill. My flower stems are flower wires from a cake shop coated with glue and then Fuchsia Flower Soft. I cut a slit in the top of the cut-out vase, threaded my stems and leaves through and taped them on the back. The centre of the vase has a bit of foam tape in it, while the edges are all stuck down to the base layer. I added a couple of little snaps and stuck it to the base. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, stamped with purple onto a scrap of blue Bazzill and cut with the Ribbon Tags from Spellbinders. I tied it on with some gold organza ribbon, and that's it.

Sabrina, this is so pretty. I like the way you used the flower soft to match the background. I like the colors that you used. I like the gold ribbon. The way you stuck the flowers into the pot adds a really nice dimension.
