What a vast and beautiful gallery to peruse this morning!! I had a hard time choosing, I picked this card to CASE: There's a Storm a Brewin by sumtoy at Splitcoaststampers
I tried my best to recreate the clouds... not quite right?!?! First I used a brayer to color the shimmery white cardstock with bashful blue, then I used a sponge dauber with white craft inktoo make the first layer of clouds. Then I heat embossed with white ep. then I sponged with a layer of brilliant blue, more white ink and embossed the whole thing with clear ep. Next I sponged with Night of Navy and heat emossed the deer with black ep.
The acetate layer was stamped with staz on black and reversed over the "cloudy" sky.
If anyone knows how to do the cloudy sky better, I sure would appreciate a tip of two...
Thanks for looking!!

Wowzers! You got a great effect with all that work! Your clouds are lovely! This is a set I have my eyes on too. I love it. So majestic. Love your photo corners and black framing. Stunning effect. TFS
P.S. I learned how to make clouds from my DH, and they are so easy! Tear a paper towel and sponge Barely Blue over the rough edge, moving the paper towel down to create the next row of clouds. Perfect every time! (I still think yours are great!)

This is quite stunning! Awesome Father's Day card!
When I want to do clouds, sometimes I use SU's cloud template, but mostly I take my scalloped scissors and cut out a post-it note. Lay the post-it note on your cardstock and sponge the various colors you want to use around those scallops, moving your post-it note around the cardstock to achieve the cloud effect. I hope that helps!
