I was lucky that Dawn (DawnL) and her DH stopped for a brief visit on their way up north. Dawn was one of the first SCSers who truly made me feel welcome to this wonderful stamping community. So, after much online stalking and chatting, phone calls, and exchanges of cards, it was fabulous to meet face to face, even if only for a quick visit.

It's amazing how people meet and become friends sometime. How nice for the two of you. Being from CT myself, I hope that Dawn enjoyed our beautiful state. TFS.....

How great it is for the two of you to be able to meet
face to face. I have been one of the lucky ones to have
been able to talk to Dawn here at SCSers. She is a sweet
heart and even stamped off a few of her stamps for me.
I have one son that is over sea's right now. He is in the
Army. And I have another son who is a Marine.
A son-in-law in the Navy.
My husband put 30 in the Navy our Daughter put 4 years
in the Navy.
I never went in but I supported all of them and still do.
I have 9 grandkids.
So I'm always making cards for someone.
But I also make cards to send to my son's to hand
out to the other troops when they are over there.
So that the troops have some cards to send home to
their familys when they are away from them.
My boys tell me how much the troops like that when
I do that for them.
And Dawn was kind to me buy stamping me some image's
so that I could make some cards to send to them.
Your lucky to have been able to meet her. I have made some
great friends my self on here. But have never been able to
meet face to face with any of them as of yet .
