Well, that isn't quite right, is it? lol I finally gave in and bought this stamp, just so I could do this floating color technique. I don't know that blue is the best color for it, but . . . that was the challenge, so what could I do? lol
I stamped the image with versamark and clear embossed, then I wet the card stock quite a bit, and floated the color by dipping a wet aqua pen into the ink and letting it float onto the image. It's pretty cool. The mat behind the rose is embossed with the flowers impressability. I used organdy ribbon which I also colored along one edge with the aqua painter and ink before heating with the heat gun. I matted it with a strip of card stock. The sentiment was cut/embossed with the Spellbinders oval nestability and then mounted onto a labels four piece. The corners of the Sahara Sand layer are punched with the wrought iron punch.

Very pretty. I love what you've done here. I got everything to do this technique except the stamp. Doesn't make too much sense does it? anyway you've done a fabulous job with it.
