I loved how Nancyruth's sunflower card looked. Then I remembered that I had taken a photo of sunflowers last year. I printed the sunflower on the acetate. I colored the back with my yellow and turquoise sharpie markers. I loved last week's sketch, so I cut the acetate into strips. I added a checked ribbon and instead of the small square I used a butterfly.(I had to stamp my butterfly! I didn't had a dead one like Dawns) I usually stamp the butterfly twice and cut out the top leaving the hard to cut antenea on the bottom. I didn't think that the antenea would show up on the acetate, so I made them out of silver wire to match the silver brads. I like this much better than my chicken card. This one made me think of the tinted photos that I did when I took photography in college.
Another stampinb card. Check out the stampin b design challenge for this week : http://stampinbsdesignteam.blogspot....ne12-2009.html

Beautiful!!! I don't have a real dead butterfly handy either. I left mine in the cabinet at school. The kids love checking it out when we are talking about insects. Until today and Dawn's post, I had never thought of using it as a card embellishment!
Love the colors you used! The bright turquoise bg looks great with the bright, sunny flower!
