Birthday card for Mum; she teaches crochet, but knitting was the closest I could come to a hen party!
I punched the candle border in red first, then decided to punch another in black to shadow it. Colored the flames with yellow Stickles.
I wanted the ball of yarn to hang off the bottom under the chickies, so I had to cut around it and shorten the rest of the image, and then I popped it up over the candles. The yarn is all twinkly, but it doesn't really show.
I was dying to find a use for this Michael's ribbon!!
