For today's limited supplies challenge, we were to create a card without layers and with a theme of summer. Well, when I was a little girl, one of my favorite things to do (when I wasn't hanging out in the magnolia tree in our front yard, or playing Indians or horses with my best friend) was to go across the road and into my neighbor"s backyard where there was a creek. We would spend HOURS watching the tadpoles grow into frogs. Here is my summery frog!
I used wild wasabi to stamp the frog, then colored her (I'm assuming it's a "her") in so saffron, tempting turquoise, cameo coral and apricot appeal. Then I masked her and sponged the sky and stamped the grasses; then unmasked her and stamped a few extra grasses, so she would appear in them. Then added on the epoxy sticker saying: "A moment in time" The frog looks to me like she is just enjoying the summer's day! Thanks for looking.

Stamps: Paula Best sun frog, SU Inspired by Nature grasses
Paper: SU whisper white
Ink: SU wild wasabi ink pad, so saffron, tempting turquiose, apricot appeal and cameo coral markers (I would have used copics, but they tend to bleed inside the card so I layer the image when I use them)

I love this frog and your story. I used to kind of get into watching those tadpoles, also.. when I was a little girl.
