I took a piece of black card stock, ripped skinny pieces of painters tape. (the thinner the better) Put the tape all over the card so it looks like a stained glass window. Then rubbed versa mark all over the card and then painted the pearl ex in each section. Then wiped off the excess with a swiffer dry cloth. Then sprayed the card stock with clear sealer. After it dried, (about an hour) I put the butter fly on with 3D dots.
The Butterfly was done on glossy black paper with versamark and pearl ex as well.

I love it! It's so pretty. I'm always wanting new ideas on how to use Pearl Ex. I have some but always seem to go brain dead when it comes to using it. Thanks for the idea.....so pretty.

I found the black glossy paper at a small stamp store in Minneapolis, MN. It is from the "Stamp Inn" In Bloomington, MN the phone number is 952-948-1710 and they will order things for you. It comes in a pack of 50 and is $8.99 It is called "Black Glossy" (postcards) the size of the paper is 4.25 X 5.5 The brand name of the product is "The Paper Cut Inc." Out of Appleton, WI There isn't a phone number on the package.
