This is my take on SC231. I saw a neat card by Kristin Moore "Marigold Clematis" that sort of inspired this card in combination with 3boysstampin's "Wonderful You Top Note"...the colors in that card just called to me.
I shifted the main image over to the right, I dunno why - I'm a lefty - I do everything backwards....it just looked better over there to me. I did the top of my "pickets" with the Designer Label Punch, "nails" on the fence panels w/1/4" hole punch, dragged a Going Grey sponge across for the "faux wood" look, hand-drew a little wood grain in with Sahara Sand marker. Lots of cutting of the leaves and flowers but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
Thanks for the great challenge and all the wonderful inspiration found here!
TFL!

This card jumped into my favs right away! Love the top of the fence using the designer label punch and these colors really pop! Sure made that set Best Blossoms look great! Never would have thunked to stamp the white on the gray....now that's a lot of cutting.....and the polka dot ribbon makes it so special! Super job! TFS!
