Thank you for all the nice comments ! I've found this technique to be quite easy once you get the hang of it. To do the smacking acetate you pick four or five colours of your choice. With a piece of acetate, 1/4 sheet, (SU sells the window sheets that work great!) "paint" your sky in the various colours on the acetate with your markers (I tried using my Stampin' Spots and that worked pretty good too). Once you have that done, spray the acetate with water (I filled up an old hairspray bottle). Get the acetate quite moist but not too wet. With a piece of GLOSSY white cs already prepared (I usually use a 1/4 sheet and then trim)you flip the acetate and SMACK the colours on to the glossy cs. Then quickly smear it really well with your fingers. Some water will probably run out the sides so you might want to prepare your work space for that. Once it's blended the way you want.....peel back the acetate and voila! I then used Lovely As A Tree and stamped the trees. I then took a piece of SU Confetti cs and stamped the trees again but I cut out just the bottoms of it and lined it up and adhered it to the glossy to make the ground look kind of snowy. I hope this makes sense. Somebody might have some better instructions but you should be able to follow these ones. I'm usually a person that needs visual to understand so I hope I explained it properly. Thank you all again for the nice comments!
