Wahoo! I got to play on a weeknight. Unheard of, but welcome.
This card is an entry for the MOJO89 Challenge. I had a wonderful time making this card as I was itching to use some new printed tissue paper. This tissue paper is touted as Designer Paper and even has gold foil accents, which probably don't show up in the photo. It is all moot as I covered it all up with embellies and a sentiment anyway!
For those that stare at a thumbnail to figure it all, like I usually do, let me save you the angst! The circle on which the butterfly rests is a a designer paper I bought from the California Paper Goods Co. which comes already textured. It reminded me of pavers, which is why I bought it.
The butterfly is stamped from Inkadinkadoo clear stamps in gold EP, cut out, colored with gel pens and then added Stickles. I added a strip of Crystal Effects to the body for dimension, then popped the whole butterfly up on dimensionals.
For the message panel, I sponged ivory card stock with Creamy Caramel, then stamped the image in Not Quite Navy. Sponged the edges and then added photo corners in Gmund Treasury Shimmer (gold).
The silk flower was a gift from jaydekay. Thank you, Judy! I was truly undecided as to whether to add the flower in the upper corner, but the flower won out. Hope it's not too busy looking.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful rest of the week!

Hmmmm, I see someone has favorited your card but I guess decided not to leave a comment. If there's one thing that truly rubs me the wrong way it's that: If you think enough of the card to favorite it, cant you leave a comment? C'mon.
Enough of that, let's discuss this work of art, shall we? Oh, that really is such beautiful tissue paper. I never would have thought of that, nor would I ever thought of the design. Everything is just perfection, really it is. Just beautiful in design, papers, and colors.

Okay M, you've really done it this time, or should I say, AGAIN!!! This is absolutely breathtaking. I was so surprised to see it as I can tell you really do your "OWN ORIGINAL THING"!! That makes your cards really stand out because I really do connect with you when I see your work as an extension of who you are. Don't mean to get too deep here, it just amazes me. This is so GORGEOUS. I LOVE the beautiful papers, the gold, that AMAZING butterfly, the sentiment, the b/fly on the circle with that out of this world paper you found. And, I think the flower adds to, not takes away from your card. Love those pearls too!!! Wow, you know how to work a MOJO sketch my friend!!! See ya this weekend!!! TFS!

Gosh, that is stunning. The papers, but the whole ensemble too. Even without the little Dew Drops, the textured white circle made me think mother of pearl, and that butterfly is fantastic. Very Eastern feel to this, maybe Thailand or somewhere like that.

I think I am going to have to take sides with the fabulous Anne on the whole favoriting and not commenting issue, one of my biggest pet peeves too!!!
This is a real beauty and thank you so much for allowing myself, YLM and Jaydekay to make this fabulous card at our swap the other day, now I have one of my own!! Yeah Me!!
