I was really supposed to be doing something else this evening, but I'd been burning all day to try out the sketch for today's challenge, SC231, so I bailed and worked on this card instead. This card is also my entry for last week's Crafty Secrets Stimulating Creativity Challenge, CSSC70, Pick-a-Pocket challenge to use a pocket in a project. I've been dying all week to do this one, so I was thrilled when I figured out that I could do both in this one card (and a new agenda for my evening was born!).
I'd asked about participating in a Crafty Secrets challenge a few weeks ago, but had no Crafty Secrets products to use on a project. The lovely Pammyjo was kind enough to send me some great Crafty Secrets goodies, and I was thrilled to be able to use some of them tonight. Thanks, Pammyjo!!
In the envelope pocket is a small removable postcard. The image on the front was made from a stamp I bought on eBay from someone in Europe who made rubber stamps from real vintage postcards and maps. I thought that was pretty cool and had to have it! It was perfect for this card. The other side of the postcard is stamped with a vintage-feel birthday message.
Thanks for looking!
Emily

This is way cool with the postcard in the envelope and the classy brads. Always get attracted by cards with French connections, as my mother was (more or less) French.
