For this week's Featured Stamper, we get to honor and CASE Rox71 (Roxie) who has an absolutely gorgeous gallery and she gives the best details in her explanations of how she did each card. Congratulations, Roxie!!
Here is the gorgeous card I chose to CASE - Butterflies by Rox71 at Splitcoaststampers What I changed - I made a shorter and wider card but kept the design. I used a vine stamp on a scrap that I dry embossed and matted with navy blue instead of a stamped ribbon and then attached that to the card.
The main image, a Southern Dogface butterfly, was actually stamped twice. I wanted to make it dimensional so I colored both of them using the Gamsol Magic technique and then glued them together, back to back. Now as the wings are positioned in a flight position you can see its beautiful colors underneath, too. Since I have a book on butterflies, these colors are accurate in nature. I also dry embossed the butterfly as described in Roxie's description but since mine was double thickness, it is not so prominent. I don't think it shows up very good in my picture but does IRL.
Thanks for looking. I hope you like it and that it inspires you to stamp today!

Wonderful job on your butterfly - the nice uncluttered look of your card really gives focus to the butterfly. Great card!
