Who would think to be inspired by a book cover.....SmilynStef that's who. Such a great idea, and SO many to choose from. I chose this one. Mainly because it just glowed on the page, had egg in the title and I knew I had an egg stamp. LOL........details......
I just got this new tree stamp from Rubber Stamp Tapestry and knew it would work perfectly for this IC piece. So I stamped it four times and clear ep it.
Cut it out using a narrow oval coluzzle, then sponged lettuce over top.
Cut another slightly larger oval and sponged it citrus.
Since I had the sewing machine out to fix DH's bike gloves, I thought I'd add a little sewing here. Honestly, I really can sew much better than it looks here, but....what the heck.
Put my ovals on an ATC card that I splattered with pacific point.
Stamped and colored my eggs with pacific point re-inker, then added the white dots for fun. Put them on the card.
Well, there you have it in *egg* shell, lol, ........TFL :0)

At first, I thought you were talking in code! Using the word egg is very interesting, I must say. Hey, check out that stitching! Well, there you go, doing something honest with your time. I like that. Pretty neat card and pretty darn inspiring, if I say so myself. I'm back from vacation and I brought lots of new ideas. Watch your back.

Y'know, I looked at that cover and wasn't inspired at all. YOUR card, however, is fabulous. Dead on inspired card! tsmfs
